Vehicle Description

You are looking at a lovely and playful GTV that seeks a new home.  It has resided in Georgia for the last 5 years, with a few other long term owners listed.  It starts with little effort, and rev's happily.  The idle is smooth. and the exhaust note Italian.  The synchro's are smooth including second, and it loves the upper band of the RPM's.  Originally producing 129hp, at the car pulls away with ease, entering Atlanta traffic without a worry.  Service records date back decades and chronicle extensive care.  The history shows the car underwent a major restoration finishing in 2006.  All areas of concern and rust were removed, and the side light markers were converted from the American to the more aesthetic European style.  The paint---originally Piper yellow--was muted to soften the yellow.  The paint has held up exceptionally well, with just an expected road rash under the bumper, and an occasional rock chip.  The windshield was converted to the gasket type as well.  The transmission was rebuilt by Daytona Motors in SF.  The SPICA was rebuilt by Wes Ingram.   The engine who's a two stage rebuild---first the head (cams, valves, guides etc), and later the bottom with 10-1 pistons and rings, sleeves, and bearings.  The suspension is sporting Bilstein shock, and performance springs.  Motor mounts and the fan and shroud were replaced in 2013.  Also a new steering box, lower ball joints, tie rods, and the center section were replaced in 2013 as well.

Please visit www.Aflarestore.com to see the posted restoration of the car.  Extensive and expensive I gather.

Additional photos were recently taken, and a presumed leaf appears around the right headlight.  Please note the others without that spot visible.
